My tip for this month is to find a quiet place and take a moment to write down a list of everything you are grateful for. A friend of mine recently posted that you, “Can’t spell RA without Gratitude.” (Hi, Eileen!) Being that it’s Thanksgiving here in the United States, this is a great time to show gratitude. However, this can be a daily practice that can help put things into perspective on any bad days or good days and bring you more into balance.

So, here is my list. Feel free to create your own and share it in the comments below, if you are comfortable to do so. Your list can be super detailed or simple. Go with the flow and write down whatever comes to your mind.

The Things I Am Grateful For:

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Loved ones
  • Modern medicine
  • Alternative, functional and holistic medicine
  • Being able to walk again after knee surgery
  • A roof over my head
  • A bed to sleep on
  • Clean water
  • Food on my table
  • A car that takes me places
  • Simple pleasures like that cup of tea in the morning
  • Getting older
  • Closeness to God, Source, Creator
  • My growth spiritually
  • Adventures and traveling

My list was super simple and short. Though this isn’t a full list of what I am grateful for, it’s a start! Try this every morning for a few minutes before you begin your day and you’ll notice a shift in your life for the better!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! 🙂
