Hi! My name is Erika. I’m 31 years old and I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 28. Since being diagnosed, I’ve always sought out natural alternatives to manage my RA. After three years of trying different protocols, I’ve found that a whole food, plant-based diet is the most healing diet for my body. I also practice meditation and yoga to keep my mind and body in shape. Ive been able to achieve long periods of remission with my lifestyle changes, but things can make a quick turn if I don’t remain on top of my routines and mindset.

My IG is a platform for all my ups and downs dealing with this disease holistically. For fun, I love to camp, rock climb (when my body is feeling good), and just be anywhere in nature. I love to read books on nutrition, health/wellness, philosophy, neuroscience, and mindfulness. My goal is to become a health coach, and I’m currently working on writing a book. @turning_pain_n2_purpose
