Hello! I’m @monica_ines. I was diagnosed with RA in 2012 after childbirth. I’m a full-time working mom in Los Angeles. RA runs in my family so when I was diagnosed I decided that I would stay clear of conventional treatments. I already saw first hand what that would look like and I wanted to thrive. I learned about AP protocol on www.roadback.org and have had positive results treating my RA under the care of a Rheumatologist that specializes in it. This isn’t a cure. It’s another treatment to stabilize RA that is approved by the NIH and recognized by the board of Rheumatology.

I also incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes herbal formulas, acupuncture, cupping, tui na and nutrition to further support my healing. After almost 7 years my joints are relatively free from damage confirmed by x-rays. I’m still sailing along, but I’m hoping what I can share from my process may be of help to you. You can also read a bit more of my personal journey on @rheumatismatic  previous posts from 2018 where Monika from Toronto so graciously shared her platform so I could tell my story.
