Orgono Living Silica Gel

This gel is amazing! Ladies and gentleman alike, this is great for wrinkles. It helps any tendon, muscle, ligament, joint pain and helps my inflammation. When I have had a cut or bruise, this helped heal it faster. I also used this post total knee replacement on my scar (after I was cleared to apply lotions and gel) and this has lessened the appearance considerably.

Here is some more into from the company:

“Orgono Silica Gel is easy to use- massage directly on skin. This is made without chemicals, unwanted cosmetics, or oils. This is unscented and neutral, making it perfect for everyday use and for all genders. Studies show that without adequate silica, the body cannot maintain optimum skin elasticity, strong hair, nails, teeth and gums. Collagen, which is mostly made up of silica, is the glue that holds us together. Our connective tissues consist of collagen, which aids in elasticity and also moisture retention. Collagen has apparent importance in the prevention of premature aging.\ Specially formulated and should feel cool to the touch. This gel contains no staining oils or chemicals. The appearance is slightly opaque upon application and then forms a nearly transparent mask. Cosmetics may be applied, with no issue, over this gel. Orgono Silica Gel contains a high concentration of silicon combined with water and glycerin to produce a self-contained applicant. It dries within seconds of application and may form a mask (or film) over the skin surface. Wipes and washes away easily and can be reapplied without restrictions.”

doTERRA Blue Rub

This was suggested to me by a friend and fellow arthritis warrior, Carolyn who happens to be a doTERRA Wellness Advocate and expert on anything essential oils related. Many of you have probably seen her featured on my blog as a guest contributor, sharing her wisdom on the overall benefits for rheumatoid arthritis and more.  Although I had heard of the blue rub, I just never got the chance to try it until recently.

I aim to use the most natural ingredients in pain and inflammation relieving products as possible. This has some minor chemicals but nothing major. It really has helped take the pain away in minutes! Inflammation has gone down too after it’s use. I use it on areas that can be bothersome like my hands or elbow (where I have joint and tendon issues) and if it can help me in these areas, it will help you.

Here is some additional information from the doTERRA website: “doTERRA® Deep Blue Rub is a topical cream formulated with Deep Blue Soothing Blend of CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® essential oils, natural plant extracts, and additional helpful ingredients that provides a comforting sensation of cooling and warmth to problem areas.”

Bio Freeze

This right here is gold. It’s not 100% naturally derived ingredients but when it comes to pain relief this does the job immediately. I have joint damage in my elbow and this area can be very sensitive because of how small the joint is and the nerves running through. So when it acts up or if I overdo it, Bio Freeze is the first thing I turn to.

It’s no wonder this is loved by many: “Biofreeze is the #1 clinically recommended external pain relief product. For over 25 years, Biofreeze has been the secret weapon of leading clinical professionals, athletes and now you, providing cold therapy pain relief for sore muscles, back aches and sore joints.”

MSM Aloe Vera Gel

This helps pain and inflammation but when I have had bug bits this decreases swelling and itchiness.

Here are other benefits as said on the site: ‘Enriched with 12% OptiMSM, organic aloe extract and soothing herbal extracts, MSM aloe gel is great for reducing pain from abrasions, bruises, burns and sunburns. It may also improve cracked skin and scar tissue, as well as take the itch out of poison oak and insect bites. Try it to reduce acne or relieve sore feet. It may even be used as natural skin care. Pets like it, too!”

MSM Medicinal Lotion

In addition to the medicinal version, they also have unscented, berry vanilla, peppermint, coconut and more. It’s a nice moisturizer during the winter or after a shower/bath too. I really like it!

Here are other benefits as said on the site: “Enriched with 12% OptiMSM, natural vitamins & organic botanical ingredients, our MSM lotion can help restore & rejuvenate dry, rough skin. This pure cream delivers all the value of MSM directly to the skin surface to address inflammation, scar tissue & wrinkles. This medicinal formula contains the healing benefits of tea tree oil. Apply to damaged/irritated skin, sunburns, or mosquito bites. Excellent for shaving!”
